Parallel Randomized Algorithms in Heterogeneous Environments

چکیده

This paper investigates the behavior of parallel randomized algorithms in systems with dynamically changing loads. A theoretical analysis and some simulation results are presented. The sequential run time distributions considered are the exponential distribution, uniform distributions and twofold uniform distributions. A stochastic process is used to model the load in the simulated system.
